Driveway Paint
The kids and I painted our driveway the other day. Can you guess which one is mine?? Can ya? Can ya?

Aiden's Birthday
Aiden turned 4 yesterday! He was very excited, had a great day, but doesn't seem to realize that today isn't actually a continuation of his birthday. He also thought that since yesterday was his birthday, he was the boss. Oh the fun we had.
Look below to see a few of his gifts...
Please give my Mom props for creative wrapping of an over sized bowling set and soccer ball!

This Past Weekend
My test on Friday was a crap shoot. It was completely based on scenarios, after reading the passage you had to answer 6-10 questions with the "best" answer. I hate those type of tests because you know that if you're asked to pick the "best" answer, there are obviously more than one that fit. The other problem I had was that after about the third scenario, I kept thinking "didn't I already answer this one?" BLAH!
I also had B.R.E.A.K.away on Saturday and Sunday. Basically, it's a weekend retreat for the leaders and co-leaders of Girl Scouts. Picture a weekend filled with classes and crafts and that would be exactly what it was. I had a blast! I enjoyed being around women with similar interests and everyone was there just to have a good time.
I took a camp journal class and guess what, we made a journal. I spent the rest of Saturday in CPR training class. So, I'm now certified to administer adult & child CPR. Sunday I attended the S.W.A.P.S. (small whatchamacallits pinned somewhere) class. This was a great class. I left with so many ideas that even my first grade brownies could do. To round out the weekend, I made a Thanksgiving paver. We literally took patio pavers and painted them. It is too adorable! Check it out...

Halloween Pictures as Promised

I know they look all crazy like with their glowing eyes, but I had a heck of a battle with "red eye" remover and gave up. The child with the blocked out face is Nick's friend. I don't have permission to post his image and I really don't want to chance upsetting any parents.

CPS/CAP
Today is test day again. Back in May I already took a 6.5 hour test to obtain my CPS status. A CPS is a Certified Professional Secretary. Basically, it just proves that I know enough about technology, administrative practices, and management to be good at my job. Today, I'm taking a 2.5 hour test to obtain my CAP, Certified Administrative Professional, status. Today's test is based on Advanced Management Procedures. It covers decision making, leadership, quality control, etc. So if I pass, I guess that means that I can prove that I can be even better at my job.
I am nervous about the test, but it's not like it means all that much right now. I'll get a pat on the back from my employer if I pass and the option to retake in 6 months if I don't. There are no financial gains in it for me, but if I ever choose to move on from my current employer there may be benefits then.
I know I haven't posted pictures yet from Halloween. I promise that will be my next post. Love to all and don't forget a #2 pencil.
