Cheese is the Thing
My nearly 18 month old has learned to open the fridge. He is now in the daily habit of seeing how much he can gorge himself on cheese. He enjoys hotdogs too if there is a pack open, but typically he heads straight for the cheese.
Now our fridge at home is the kind that does not have the handle that protrudes out on the front. The handle on our's in within the side on the door. So, this means that all standard child proofing devices won't work. I have no way to lock my fridge. I understand that most people would think that this is not a problem, but good lord you can't watch him 24/7 and when you do attempt to pee he heads straight for the kitchen. When you need to tend to another child, he heads straight to the fridge. No matter what, he heads straight to the cheese.
You would think that with all the cheese the boy consumes he would be bound tighter than a sailor's knot, but no. He is quite regular. So, I'm not concerned with issue do to problems arising with his system, it's just man - cheese? I enjoy a good slice here and there, but come on who wants to eat it all the time?
Any suggestions on locking the fridge would be helpful. Thanks!
