All Moved In
We're all moved in now and have slept in our own house for two nights. Freaky, but GREAT feeling. The kids seem to like the house and have already laid claim to their respective areas and have mastered the digital cable remote, etc. I've taken more pictures, but have been too lazy to finish hooking up all the computer accessories. So, I'll try to get them downloaded tonight, but no promises.
I get the new fish tank today!...or at least I hope they remember to bring it today. Now my only concern is that our two monstrous fish survived for it. Here's the story...
I had to move the two fish back into one 10 gallon tank because since I'm adopting three little fish they needed somewhere to go (that tank is now set-up on the boys dresser). So, the two big fish are sharing 10 gallons and you'd think that'd be bad enough but no the morning of the move Aiden had some fun. Since we were getting ready to move furniture, I moved the tank to the floor. Ready access for Aiden who decided the fish looked hungry and dumped their entire container of food in the tank. Well, I didn't have time to clean it up right that moment b/c the move had begun so it had to wait. When I got there yesterday morning, I did a massive water change (two times) and removed about half the gravel. There were still remnants of food in the tank, but it's the best I could do. We'll see if they survived tonight.
This wasn't Aiden's only fishing adventure though considering last week he thought that Dora needed some footwear and dropped his shoe in her tank. Two year olds rock!
Better go now and leave for the day ahead. I promise pictures will follow soon.
