Ah, we can breathe again

The anticipation was at an all time high - all month. Moira is now officially 6. My baby girl isn't so much of a baby anymore. She more of an emotionally crazed short 16 year old. Yes, I just can't wait till her high school years. I'm not sure if I'll survive, but I won't go down without a fight.

Her class party was nice. I've come to swear off joint parties with classmates ever again, but that's just for my own sanity and something to do with gift bags. It's a long story, but in the end I end up on the verge of tears feeling as though I've been set-up in some joke and totally pissed at another mom. Hence, the kids had fun which made it nice, but I will never do that again.

The gifts were great, from both family and friends, but I may be raising a "concern." Her dad, brothers, and I, got her two pairs of pants, a shirt, a sweater, and a dollar on her last gift. She throws the clothes aside just to kiss the dollar. At what age are kids now learning that our world relies on money? She wasn't serious and I know my kids have an idea that there are more important things in life, but dude she kissed a dirty bill. What kind of boys will she be willing to kiss? This is what must be answered.
