catching up

so i sat down on three separate occasions this weekend to try and post and upon each attempt, i got side tracked. i had to do things like make drinks and food or set-up an email account for nick or take a leak. all those important things you know.

now i'm sitting hear blaring aerosmith so loudly that i have no clue if anyone is speaking to me until i look at their mouth. i love aerosmith; they actually rank higher than guns and roses or montly crue. see, i'm cursed being the youngest. i didn't even grow-up listening to my own style music. instead, i listen to whatever the elder generations were listening to. i will say though that i have to laugh every time i listen to "eat the rich" and there's a huge belch at the end.

kids are fine, jason is fine, i'm fine (overworked, but fine). what mother/wife/employee isn't overworked though? i actually got to take a nap this weekend, completely on accident but hey i'm not complaining. i also got to clean up barf so i guess all things are fair and balanced in my world.

my tv shows are going well. tonight is the season finally of hell's kitchen and project runway seems to be dragging me farther into it's jaws with each episode. i have decided though that for the time being i have two new favorite shows; monk and psych. i knew i always liked monk, but now i'm hooked on it and even spent sunday watching repeats on usa. psych is totally a gut busted and those boys are too hard on the eyes either.

that's it. what can i say? i live an exciting life.

Comments:
If it were not for Monk and Pysch, summer TV would be a bust, The Closer is also good, but I forget it is on. I can't even get new re-runs of my favorite TV shows. Most of them were re-runs during the season or they are not re-running them at all.

Now a nap sounds good, but whoever heard of a Mom/Wife getting one? Did you mention "I need help" and everyone ran for cover?
