Illness
Well, Moira's sick. No clue what's wrong or causing it, but sick none the less. She came home yesterday complaining about not feeling well and was asleep on the couch by the time we got home from work. When she woke up, I got out of her that it was her stomach bothering her and not her throat. That was actually great news. Later in the evening I got 1 tsp of Pepto down her and she's been asleep ever since. She does have a low grade fever and we'll just have to see how the day goes. I set her up in my room so hopefully she'll have a chance to sleep most of it off and she can watch some cartoons if she wants. My only hope is that this is a fast moving bug.
Nick had a birthday party for a friend last night at a place called Video Champ. He's now infatuated and has requested that his birthday party be there. The entire place is filled with all assortments of video games, including pinball. The way the parties work is you pay by the hour, not the game, and for $12.50 a kid dinner is included also. Well, it's $12.50 for 2 hours of play and $15.00 for 3 hours (2 hours seemed to be enough). The meal options are pretty good too. You can choose from a hot dog & fries, pizza, or nachos. I'm thinking this might be a possibility, people.
I guess that's all for my world now. I'm off to work and will be awaiting a call if Moira doesn't start to feel better or it goes to her throat. I'm only worried because one of her friends had strep. BUT, she wasn't around her until the antibiotics were started, but my mother-in-law does babysit the girl's brother. Even with the babysitting, I can't think of how she would have got it but I just want to get her in to the doctor if it does go from a stomach-ache into a sore throat.
